- You may return to light duty work 48 hours after surgery.
- For jobs that require heavy lifting, we can write you a doctors note until cleared for upper body lifting.
- You are cleared to drive 24 hours after surgery as long as you are not on pain medication and feel capable.
- If you take pain medication, you will need someone to drive you.
- No workout restrictions immediately prior to surgery.
- Light walking is ok after surgery.
- Limit range of motion 1 week after surgery.
- Avoid upper body lifting or breaking a sweat for 6 weeks post op.
